The Pythagorean Theorem

The converse of the theorem

The converse of the theorem

The converse says→if, in a triangle, c2 = a2 + b2, where c is the longest side, then the triangle is right-angled, and the angle opposite c is a right angle. For example, the triangle with sides 7, 24 and 25 is right-angled, because 72 + 242 = 49 + 576 = 625 = 252.
