- A polygon is a closed figure made of line segments, and it is named by its number of sides.
- Sum of the interior angles = (n − 2) × 180°.
- Sum of the exterior angles = 360° for any polygon.
- In a regular polygon interior angle = (n − 2) × 180° ÷ n, and exterior angle = 360° ÷ n.
- Number of diagonals = n (n − 3) ÷ 2.
