Lesson summary
Lesson summary
A chemical reaction turns reactants into new products after bonds are broken and new bonds are formed.
Signs of a reaction include colour change, gas production, precipitate formation, heat change and light.
A chemical change alters the chemical composition, while a physical change does not.
Mass is conserved in a chemical reaction
the mass of the reactants equals the mass of the products.
