Heat Transfer

Conduction

Conduction

Conduction→is the transfer of heat through a substance from one particle to the next by collisions, without the particles themselves moving from their places. When one end of a metal spoon is heated, its particles move faster and collide with the neighbouring particles, passing on their energy, until the heat reaches the other end.
