Lesson summary

Integers include positive numbers, negative numbers and zero.
Adding numbers with the same sign keeps that sign. Adding numbers with different signs gives the sign of the number with the larger absolute value.
Subtracting a number is the same as adding its additive inverse.
In multiplication and division, equal signs give a positive result and different signs give a negative result.
Follow the order of operations brackets, powers, multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction.
